The Kingdom
of the Zulu's (L) |
We
leave the city of Durban and head up the coast towards
the magical heart of the Zulu Kingdom. Our first stop
is an authentic cultural village where dancers perform
an ancient dance to the beating of African drums.
Sample traditionally brewed Zulu beer and watch woman
craft clay pots and intricate Zulu beadwork. After a
hearty lunch, we proceed to the village of St Lucia

04 |
The
Kingdom of Swaziland (BLD) |
The
day begins with a motor launch cruise on magnificent
Lake St Lucia, a World Heritage Site and home to
hippo,crocodile and several hundred bird species.We
leave the soothing wilderness and head for the Kingdom
of Swaziland, via northern Zululand, a landscape
dotted with traditional Zulu homesteads. Inside
Swaziland, we visit the Swazi Candle Factory, its
shelves packed with ethnic candles of every hue, size
and shape imaginable. We arrive at our hotel in the

05 |
Kruger
National Park (BD) |
We
visit the famous Ngwenya Glass Factory, to watch
craftsmen fashion delightful animals and functional
art from molten glass, then we continue on to Kruger
National Park. We enter through the southern-most gate
and head north through the vast reserve, reaching our
camp in time for a traditional sundowner (own account)

Set
off before breakfast in open safari vehicles on a
full-day safari in search of lion, elephant, buffalo,
rhino and leopard, and all manner of wondrous
wildlife, birds and plant species. Savour the magic of

The
day's highlights include Pilgrim's Rest, the old
mining village where gold was first discovered, the
glorious God's Window, a boundless view of forested
mountains and fertile plains, and a visit to the

Pretoria
& Johannesburg (BL) |
We
leave Mpumalanga rising several hundred feet into the
Highveld en route to Pretoria, South Africa's capital
city. After lunch, we proceed on a tour of our
Capital, tracing South Africa's extraordinary history
with visits to Kruger Museum and the Voortrekker
Monument. Arrive in Johannesburg in the late
afternoon. Drop off at the airport. |

Cape Town and the Western Cape |
The Western
Cape is situated on the south-western tip of Africa. The climate
is cool and rainy during winter and hot in the summer. This region
is well known for its scenic beauty and many attractions, making
it one of the premier tourist attractions of South Africa.
Some attractions in Cape Town and the Western Cape include:
• Table Mountain - The striking flat-topped mountain forming the
backdrop to Cape Town
• Robben Island - A former prison, now a national monument
• Cape Point - The most southern point of the Cape Peninsula
• Kirstenbosch - One of the world’s great botanical gardens with a

Activities:

Garden Route runs along the southern Cape coast. With its
Mediterranean climate the summers are moderately hot and
winters are mild and chilly. This region is also one of the
richest rainfall areas in South Africa which keeps it
constantly green. The lush green forests, beautiful
mountains, bays and lakes makes this region a must see.
Some attractions in the Garden Route include:
• The Cango Caves - Caves of awesome splendour, sculpted by
nature through the ages
• Outeniqua Choo Tjoe - A magnificent steam hauled train
traveling between George and Knysna in the heart of the
Garden Route
• Bloukrans River Bridge (Storms River) - The highest bridge

• Tsitsikamma National Park - Internationally recognized for
its magnificent forests
Once you have experienced the Garden Route you can end your
trip in Port Elizabeth, the ‘Friendly City’ and gateway to

Gauteng region, also know as ‘the Place of Gold’, is the
smallest of the nine provinces. This region has a lot to
offer the traveler interested in discovering Gauteng. Some
places of interest in Gauteng include The Apartheid Museum,
The Cradle of Humankind at Sterkfontein - Gauteng’s famous
World Heritage Site and the townships.

the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park - the largest reserve in KwaZulu-Natal,
